Racing champion Jeff Gordon teams up with Pepsi MAX to pull a prank on an unsuspecting automotive journalist who had questioned the authenticity of the original "Test Drive.
very NASCAR fan has probably seen Jeff Gordon's first "Test Drive" video, at least judging from its 40-plus million views on YouTube. Many questioned the video's authenticity. (And rightfully so.) One of those people was Jalopnik's Travis Okulski.
Depending on how you view the video, Okulski either paid the price, or had the experience of a lifetime, thanks to being particularly rough on Gordon. We present Test Drive 2.
Of course, this is the era of Jimmy Kimmel's Sochi wolf in a hallway, and it's impossible for us to not at least consider Okulski was in on the whole thing. It's just the built-in skepticism of viral videos at this point. But the tone of the whole thing is fun, and at least on the believability scale, this ranks higher than "Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving Show Up at Court Full of People Drinking Pepsi Max."
